AS DESIGNER, ART DIRECTOR, ANIMATOR AND SPECIAL EFFECT DIRECTOR
- Worked for many Advertising Agencies and Art Director for Tamil Leading Magazine (“Mangaiyar Malar” in late 70s and for the popular Tamil Magazine “Kumutham” in 90s.)
- Employed as Textile Designer at Weaver’s Service Centre, Chennai – 1978-79.
- Worked as a freelance illustrator in leading Tamil Monthly magazines, and played a major role in converting such illustrations from traditional styles to contemporary mode. (Since 1985.)
- Contributed considerably as an Artist to Avant grade literary magazines run on an experimental basis during the past 50 years.
- Worked as Poster Design and Animator at different Levels Since the 1980s towards socially issues and voluntary Groups.
- Since 1990s Art Director and Special Effects Director for Over45 Tamil. Telugu and South Indian Language films. Devathai, Assuran, Rajakaliyamman, Palayathamman, Nageswry, and Naina are Nandalala, Saraba, Nagesh Thiraiarangam the Important film in sfx.
- Very early Artist to use Computer for Painting in whole south India since early 1990s.
- Participated in Animation Camps Thiruvananthapuram and NID, Ahmedabad in the early 90s.
- Trained over 50 Leading Animators who are busy in the field currently.
- Founder Member of “Tamilnadu Film Movement”, one of the two important such movements of the state.
- Conducted the first Three Animation Camps for Children in Chennai. (1998,99,2000. Organized by Donboasco Communication Centre, Chennai.)
- Chief Designer of Tamilnadu Government Organized Chemozhi World Tamil Conference 2009.
- Member, Curriculum committee for Education (SRET) Government of Tamilnadu.
- Currently Working as Freelance Painter and Illustrator and Film Special Effects Director.
- Travelled and exhibited in France, England, Germany, sri lanka Canada, Italy, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Australia and United States.
